The flowers on the altar, Sunday, July 8th, were given to the glory of God by Faye Brown in loving memory of her husband, Shannon, and her granddaughter, Maddie.
 
It was a lovely ”farewell-ice cream social” for Vertie Baker today after church service.  Sadness was in the air, but our Love for Vertie was stronger…..
Thank you to Grace Zyla, Sally Doyle, and Sarah Padrazas for helping and making everything run so smoothly.     

There will be tear-off addresses for where you can reach Vertie in Georgia posted on the bulletin board in the “Fellowship Hall”. 

The church doors will open at 5:30 pm on Monday, July 9th for quiet prayer time and is open to the public.

“The Daughters of the King” will meet in the ‘Fellowship Hall’ at 6:00 pm. 

Wednesday, July 11th – 6:30 pm – Evening prayer service.

                                          7:00 pm – Vestry meeting. 

Father David will be in the office, Wednesday, July 11th, 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm. and Thursday, July 12th, 10:00 am – 12 noon.

“Thank You” goes to the ladies that helped Tuesday in making of the squash pickles. Your help was greatly appreciated.  A special Thank You to Jenny Sills, Faye Brown and Ginny Powers for heading the project.  

Linda McKenzie gave a beautiful set of platters to St. Stephens to be used for socials.  Thank you Linda.
