Sunday, February 10th:
The flowers on the altar are given to the glory of God and in memory of her mother, Wanda Danes, by Linda McKenzie.

Tuesday, February 12th – Father David will be in the office from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Tuesday, February 12th – Shrove Pancake Supper – 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
 
Wednesday, February 13th – Father David will be in the office from 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm.

 Wednesday, February 13th - 6:30 pm – Ash Wednesday – Eucharist with Distribution of Ashes.

 Thursday, February 14th – No office hours.

 Lenten Outreach:

As we did last year, we will again strive to fill the needs of the hungry with a “40 foot items or 40 dollars per household” campaign drive starting on Wednesday, February 14th thru Maundy Thursday.  Donations of food may be placed in bags provided at the foot of the pulpit at weekday or Sunday services to be blessed by Father David.

All loose plate cash offerings in Lent will also be donated to the food kitchen.

 Upcoming Events: 

Wednesday, February 20th – 6:30 pm – Stations of the Cross followed by a “soup & sandwich meal” provided & served  by Group #1.

 There are extra copies of the items needed for “SAFE” available in the narthex.  A box has been placed in the area between the Church and the Fellowship Hall for items to be placed.  The bigger items can be taken to the “SAFE” House at 1210 South Main Street, Lillington, NC (910-893-7233) or if you are unable to deliver the items, contact Greta Crayton (910-892-1399) and she will deliver them for you.

 Congratulations to Jay Elliott who came in 2nd. in the “Oratorical Contest” sponsored by the “American Legion” on the “U.S. Constitution” in Fuquay-Varina on Saturday.
