Sunday, June 9th:
The flowers on the altar for the service were given to the glory of God and in loving memory of her parents, Frank and Kitty Harris, by Jane and Jim Hawley.

Our summer schedule has started and will continue through August 25th.  Eucharist will be celebrated at 10:00 am.

Jay Elliot, 2013 graduate, was honored with ’The Book of Common Prayer’ from St. Stephens.  We are so very proud of him, and know he will have a bright future in his new journey in life.  We of St. Stephens appreciate his being an important member and all he has done.  Thank you, Jay.

Wednesday, June 12th - Father David will be in the office from 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm.

Wednesday, June 12th - 6:30 pm – Eucharist.

Thursday, June 13th - Father David will be in the office from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.

 

Friday, June 14th - 8:00 am – “ECW” making of squash pickles at the church office. 

There are 3 sign-up sheets (Friday, June 14th, Thursday, June 27th, and Friday, June 28th) posted on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall for those who can help in the making of the pickles.  There is also a sign-up sheet for the donation of items needed. 

 

Saturday, June 15th - ’Falcon Children’s Home Outreach’.  MEET AT THE ORPHANAGE AT 10:30 am.  There will be a ‘hot dog & chips’ lunch for those attending at 11:00 am. 

Dale Wilson is chairperson if you have questions.  

A sign-up sheet has been posted on the bulletin board of the Fellowship Hall for those who are going to help with planting of the plots.  Please sign your name for a correct head count.  The ’Outreach Committee’ needs your help with this project for it to be successful…. 

PLEASE BRING YOUR GARDENING TOOLS WITH YOU OR LET DALE KNOW YOU WILL NEED THEM.

Please remember to mark your calendar for Sunday, June 23rd – “Andrew Brooks Scholarship” – Reception following church service upstairs in the Fellowship Hall for the Jess Whittington.  He and his family will also be attending the church service.
