Sunday, August 2nd:
The flowers on the altar are given to the glory of God by John Todd and in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and in thanksgiving for Benjamin Parker on his tenth birthday.

Our Father David McGuinness has been appointed a Vicar. Congratulations, Father David!

Monday, August 3rd. – 4:30 pm – The doors of the church will be open for quiet prayer time. All are welcome.
5:00 pm – “Daughters of the King” meeting.

There will be no office hours nor Wednesday evening prayer service this week.

There was a ‘going-away reception’ given by the Vestry for Tony and Oralee Adams today after morning worship.They will be with us for 2 more weeks before moving to Tennessee.

Upcoming:
Sunday, August 9th – during the Eucharist Service – there will be a ‘Service of Admission’ into the “Daughters of the King” for Winsome Foulkes, Jane Hawley and Jeanne Healy; also ‘Service of Rededication’ for Wilma Howell.
Immediately after the morning worship, there will be a reception in their honor, upstairs in the Parish Hall.

Sunday, August 16th – ‘St. Stephen’s Anniversary’ will be celebrated.There will be an ECW ‘Cold Plate Luncheon’ following the morning worship.
Adults: $8.00 and Children under 12 years of age: $5.00.
Please sign the sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board so we can have a correct head count for preparations.

Tuesday, August 18th – 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Campbell University Street Fair will be held on the campus. Volunteers are needed to help set up the booth and be present to greet students. A sing-up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall. Please sign so we can see how many will be helping.

Sunday, August 30th – Summer schedule will end and Eucharist will return to 11:00 am.
