The Children's Pageant will be held at the 11am service on Dec. 24th. Report Signup Lists In the Parish Hall there are sign up sheets for flowers, coffee hour, nursery, reading, chalicing, acolyting, ushering and other service opportunities. Please take the time to sign up for the dates and times you can serve and help out. Wednesday Night Services We will continue to have Wednesday Night Services at 6:30 PM. After the Eucharist on Wednesday January 11, 2006 we will have a covered dish meal. Vacation Bible School If you would be interested in helping with a Vacation Bible School next summer, please let Peter Strickland or Fr. David McGuinness know. Any help at all would be great. |

Christmas Pageant. The youth of the church will hold its Christmas Pageant on Sunday, December 18, during the 11am service. Christmas Card Exchange. On Sunday, December 18, after the 11am service the youth of the church will be delivering Christmas cards from members of the congregation to other members of the parish. Save some postage and bring your Christmas cards to Church that day. Pre-Christmas Dinner. Come get your homemade lasagna dinner after the 11am service on December 18. There will also be salad, bread and homemade desserts. The cost will be $5.00 per person and the proceeds will go towards the General Fund. Acolyte Training. Sunday, December 11, right after the 11am service for about 15-20 minutes, the acolytes present will have a training session. Please take advantage of this opportunity. Wednesday Night Services. We will continue to have Wednesday night services at 6:30 pm. After the Eucharist on Wednesday, December 14, we will have a covered dish meal. Christmas party. Sunday, December 4, at 5pm at the Peerless Cafe, the Christmas party will be held. The cost is $10.00 per person. After the meal there will be a Christmas gift exchange so please bring a non-gender specific gift of about $5.00 that is wrapped. Men's Fellowship. There will be no regular monthly meeting in December. Men's Fellowship will resume in January, 2006. Time Capsule. Sunday, December 4, after the 11am service there will be a special celebration of burying and sealing the the time capsule in the church memorial garden between the church and the parish hall. Please join us for this special event after the service. If you have anything you feel is important to place in the time capsule, please contact Sarah Wells. |

Sunday School: All Sunday School classes will meet again on Sunday, Sep. 11, at 10:00am. Please come early to get involved with the new school year. 8:00 Sunday Morning Services: The 8am Eucharist will resume on Sunday, Sept. 11. The 11am Eucharist will continue at its regular time. Wednesday Night Services: We will continue to have Wed. night services at 6:30pm. After the Eucharist on Wed., Sept. 14, we will resume our covered dish meals. Needs: Crepe Myrtle Celebration: Please join Peter Strickland in operating a parish information booth at the Angier Crepe Myrtle Festival on Sat., Sept. 10, beginning at 10am. We could use your help. Nursery: We still need volunteers for the nursery. There are volunteers signed up for some of the Sundays. You will need to be in the nursery at 10:45am. If there are no children by 11:10am you may attend church. Please let Diane Lanier know if you are willing to take a turn. Coffee Hour: Please consider signing up to volunteer to host the after worship fellowship time. Sentinel (Newsletter) Publisher: If you have creative publishing talents or just have time, please contact Peter Strickland. Thank you to Kathy and Nancy for helping out so far. Flowers: Please review the altar flower sign-up sheet to choose a time to glorify God and honor a loved one. Sunday Bulletins: Nancy and Kathy have graciously volunteered their time to help type, print, copy and collate the bulletins for our services the past year.
